Gaia Rogil

Gaia Rogil is an organic shop and kitchen with a co-working space in Rogil, Aljezur, serving a daily dish made from organic and mostly local ingredients. It also sells natural products such as toxic-free sunscreens.

Gaia Rogil sits on Avenida 16 de Junho in Rogil, a village in Aljezur, Alentejo. It combines an organic shop, a small kitchen and a co-working space under one roof, open Monday to Saturday from 9h to 18h. The kitchen serves a prato do dia, a dish of the day, made from organic and mostly local fresh produce, available Mondays to Thursdays until 16h30. Bread comes from a local baker known on social media as @_bread_guy, used for dishes such as organic sourdough toasts with Gouda cheese, butter and fresh vegetables, with a gluten-free bread option available too. The shop stocks organic groceries alongside natural personal care items, including sunscreens described as free of toxic ingredients. Gaia Rogil also appears at local events, such as the Aljezur Feira de Natal at the Espaço Multiusos Aljezur, where it has run a stall in December. Customers follow daily menu updates through the shop's Telegram group and Instagram stories rather than a fixed printed menu, which keeps the kitchen's offer tied closely to what's fresh and in season.
