Orgo | Regenerative Biology Management is a Portugal-based initiative dedicated to empowering farmers in their transition to regenerative agroecological farming. Based in Castelo Branco, Orgo recognizes that farming systems—soil, plants, and animals—are complex agro-ecosystems that resist one-size-fits-all solutions, so the team tailors its approach to each farm's unique context. The organization's strategy rests on four pillars: farmer-to-farmer knowledge exchange, leading by example through successful regenerative farms supporting their neighbors, a quality-driven focus that improves nutrient density, flavor, yields and land resilience, and reigniting the fun and inspiration of farming. Orgo's services include in-person and remote farmer-to-farmer coaching, plant sap and microbiology analysis interpretation, cover crop mix recommendations, and technical trainings and workshops covering Adaptive Multi-Paddock (AMP) grazing, plant nutrition, composting, ferments, extracts and field-application methods. The organization also supports farms in onboarding to ecosystem benefit and biodiversity credit programs and helps producers adapt to the new EU Common Agricultural Policy (2023-27). A key differentiator is Orgo's ecosystem monitoring capability, which combines ground-truth data from field sensors, cameras, drones and specialized soil analyses with satellite imagery to quantify biodiversity and soil health. This data is transformed into actionable, standardized reports aligned with frameworks like CSRD and TNFD.
