Quinta da Herdeira

Since 2011, Quinta da Herdeira has operated as a family project committed to living in harmony with the land in Foros de Amora, in the municipality of Seixal. The farm practises certified organic agriculture (certification PT-BIO-05, certified by CERTIS), growing vegetables and fruit without synthetic chemicals and prioritising living, healthy soil. Alongside crop farming, the project keeps a passion for animals and promotes a sustainable, nature-connected rhythm of life close to both the land and the community it serves. The farm's produce reaches consumers through several channels: home-delivered baskets (cabazes) of vegetables and fruit in various sizes, a farm shop offering daily fresh vegetables, fruit, natural products, bread and a daily cake, plus a small café for those who wish to pause for a coffee. Quinta da Herdeira also has a regular presence at markets, including Algés, Parque das Nações Norte and Almada, bringing organic produce directly from the field to the table for shoppers across the greater Lisbon area. With a strong following on social media and consistent visibility in the local organic food scene, Quinta da Herdeira positions itself as a genuine link between rural production and urban consumers, emphasising freshness, tradition and practicality. The project continues to expand its team and its reach, welcoming visitors to its farm shop in Foros de Amora and reinforcing its role as a trusted local source of certified organic food in the Setúbal district.
