Quinta Regadinha

Quinta Regadinha is a natural, family-run farm reviving a hidden valley in the Serra da Estrela mountains near Gouveia, Portugal, producing organic products.
Quinta Regadinha is a small natural farm located in Vale de Linhares, Figueiró da Serra, in the municipality of Gouveia, nestled within the largest natural park in the highest mountain range of Portugal, the Serra da Estrela. Run as a family project by Rita and Gonçalo Teixeira, the farm focuses on organic, natural and regenerative farming practices across approximately 15 hectares of rural land. Described as a small community reviving life in a hidden valley, the project blends agricultural production with a lifestyle rooted in permaculture and sustainable land stewardship principles. The farm engages a network of 10 to 25 people connected to its activities, reflecting its role as both a working farm and a gathering point for those interested in natural farming and rural revival. Quinta Regadinha produces organic products that are distributed locally, supporting local food systems in the Gouveia region. The project is listed among permaculture and sustainability networks in Portugal, highlighting its commitment to regenerative agricultural methods and community-oriented rural development. Visitors and collaborators are invited to learn more about the farm's activities, current projects, and ways to get involved, whether through volunteering, visiting, or contributing donations to support ongoing initiatives. Quinta Regadinha represents a grassroots effort to combine traditional family farming with modern sustainability values, situated in one of Portugal's most ecologically significant mountain landscapes.
