T'Inspirar is a multisectorial cooperative based in Tomar that brings together producers and consumers around sustainable living, education, culture and craft. It runs a community space with a canteen, workshops and cultural events, including film screenings and world cuisine meals.
T'Inspirar Cooperativa Integral is a non-profit, multisectorial cooperative based in Tomar, in central Portugal. It organises its activity across eight sectors: services, education, culture, crafts, trade, consumption, agriculture, and construction & housing. Members act as prosumers, both producing and consuming within the cooperative's network.
The cooperative runs Espaço T'Inspirar, a space for creative expression that hosts regular and one-off activities, alongside the Canto Firme canteen at Rua Lopo Dias de Sousa, 8C, in Tomar. Canto Firme serves food from local producers, including the Horta dos Templários, and has hosted a 'Cozinhas do Mundo' series exploring different world cuisines, starting with Polish food in early 2025. It has also screened the documentary *Agroecologia em Movimento*, about Portugal's food sovereignty and community-supported agriculture movement, followed by a shared dinner.
T'Inspirar has supported the touring documentary *Aldeias do Futuro*, which by mid-2025 had over 30 collective screening sessions scheduled in villages and communities across Portugal. The cooperative also hosts practical workshops, such as one on how to set up a cooperative, led by Jorge Gonçalves, founder of Minga and a cooperator at both Regenerativa and T'Inspirar.
T'Inspirar positions cooperation, shared responsibility and local production as alternatives to conventional consumption. It publishes a quarterly e-magazine and a monthly newsletter for its members, and maintains ties with other cooperative networks, including Rede Cooperativas Integrais and Rizoma Coop.
Our Goal
T'Inspirar aims to promote sustainable, cooperative ways of living in Tomar, connecting producers and consumers across eight sectors: services, education, culture, crafts, trade, consumption, agriculture, and construction & housing. It supports responsible consumption and production, a circular and solidarity economy, and mutual cooperation among its members.
Our Wishes
The cooperative invites new members ('cooperadores') to join and contribute their skills, and welcomes people to its events, workshops and its Canto Firme canteen in Tomar.
