Casa do Corim to host training for waste prevention week

Casa do Corim will host a training session on 29 September 2026 marking the formal start of preparations for the European Week for Waste Reduction (EWWR 2026), themed "Responsible Use of Resources". The session aims to equip organisers with practical tools for developing local initiatives and includes a discussion period plus the handing out of recognition certificates for 2025 projects. Although centred on conscious consumption, participation remains open to actions in food waste reduction, reuse and repair, composting, and material recovery. Proposal submissions open in early September, with the main EWWR event running from 21 to 29 November 2026. Registration is required via Lipor's official portal.
