Awakeland Portugal
Awakeland Portugal is a reforestation project and conscious event venue at the foothills of the Monchique mountains in the Algarve. It runs retreats and workshops, offers eco accommodation and immersive nature experiences rooted in meditation and healing practices, and welcomes visitors looking for stillness, self-discovery and a closer connection with the natural world.
Awakeland Portugal replants the land around it and runs a conscious event centre on the same site, at the foothills of the Serra de Monchique in the Algarve. It sits between mountains and sea, 20 minutes from Portimão, Lagos and Monchique, and 15 minutes from the beaches of Alvor and Meia Praia.
Alongside the reforestation, there's a programme of well-being and personal transformation work. It includes guided meditation sessions, yoga, tantra, shamanic nature walks, dance, and a range of therapeutic and healing practices.
The centre hosts workshops, festivals, gatherings and retreats built around personal transformation and connection between people. It follows no particular religion, doctrine or belief. What it offers instead is a way of life based on conscious living and presence.
Eco accommodation is available for short or long stays, which suits holiday retreats, co-living or digital nomads looking for a calm, inspiring place to work. Guests are invited into self-discovery, drawing closer to their true essence through stillness, time in nature and community.
Our Goal
Awakeland Portugal wants to create a peaceful place for meditation, self-discovery and personal transformation, while restoring the land through its reforestation project in the Algarve.

Awakeland Portugal welcomes volunteers, retreat participants and community members who want to support the reforestation work, attend events and workshops, or stay in the eco accommodation.
