Green Tribe People

Green Tribe People is a family-run company near São Teotónio that works to spread the use of Effective Microorganisms (EM). EM is a natural technology that restores microbial balance in soil, water, homes and living beings. The company's products cover several parts of daily life: - agricultural solutions that regenerate degraded soils and support plant growth, through methods such as Bokashi composting - eco-friendly cleaning products for home and garden - EM-based cosmetics for skin and hair care - natural remedies that support animal health and intestinal wellbeing The company starts from the belief that true sustainability begins at the biological level. It looks after the microbiome in homes, in nature and in people, and sees healthy microbial ecosystems as the foundation for a liveable planet. In the long run, it wants to make the food supply chain, and the microbiology of water and soil, more sustainable for future generations. Alongside selling products, the team runs hands-on workshops, farm visits, school project collaborations and online meetings. Sessions are held regularly near São Teotónio, and they're open to organising events in towns and villages anywhere in Portugal on request. They have also taken part in agricultural innovation fairs, sharing what they know about Bokashi composting and EM applications, and so helping to bring the technology into Portugal's wider sustainable living movement.
