NÃM Mushroom Farm is a Lisbon-based certified B Corp urban farm that transforms coffee waste into fresh gourmet mushrooms using a circular, regenerative approach. Operating in Lisboa and Cascais in partnership with Delta Cafés, it offers fresh produce, home grow kits, and guided farm visits.

NÃM Mushroom Farm is an urban, circular economy project based in Lisbon, Portugal, operating under the philosophy that waste does not exist. Founded around 2020, the company collects spent coffee grounds from partner locations and transforms them into fresh, chemical-free oyster mushrooms, lion's mane, and shiitake — delivering a truly hyper-local food system that feeds the city from within the city. In partnership with Delta Cafés, NÃM upcycles many tonnes of coffee waste every year, preventing it from going to landfill and converting it into high-quality, nutritious food. The farm operates across two locations — Lisboa and Cascais — and has earned B Corp certification, reflecting its rigorous commitment to social and environmental standards. Beyond commercial mushroom production, NÃM has developed a range of home grow kits (Pleurotus, Shiitake, Lion's Mane, and DIY Oyster kits) that allow anyone to grow their own gourmet mushrooms at home using sustainable methods. The company also offers guided farm visits and tours, making it an educational destination for curious locals and tourists alike. NÃM supplies fresh mushrooms to restaurants and food businesses across the Lisbon area, emphasising consistent quality, freshness, and reliable delivery. The project bridges urban food production with waste reduction, demonstrating how regenerative and circular principles can be applied at the heart of a major European city. With a new farm in development, NÃM continues to push the boundaries of what sustainable urban agriculture can look like — proving that the future of farming can be local, waste-free, and delicious.

Our Goal

NÃM Mushroom Farm aims to build one of the most sustainable urban mushroom farms by growing nutritious food from coffee waste through a circular economy model. The project seeks to feed cities from within, upcycling tonnes of coffee grounds every year in partnership with Delta Cafés.

Our Wishes

NÃM welcomes partnerships with restaurants, cafés, and businesses seeking fresh, locally grown mushrooms, as well as individuals interested in home cultivation through their grow kits and guided farm visits.
