Regenerativa Cooperativa Integral

Regenerativa Cooperativa Integral is a cooperative, where it's members can develop their projects and activities, under it's umbrella, with administrative and fiscal support, shared resources and a community whose members back one another up. It was set up to regenerate the economic, ecological, social and cultural fabric of a rural territory. It works as a learning community, organising itself cooperatively to build concrete solutions for the people who live and work locally. Regenerativa runs various projects: - Espaço Nativa: a café, a grocery store and an events space. It's a community-based project founded in 2022, where one can come to nurture, network, work and meet, shop and celebrate. The meals are made with quality ingredients, as local as possible, with vegetable and animal protein options. The cultural area has monthly program of events celebrating local traditions such as *cante alentejano*, group dance, games and so on. In Espaço Nativa, one can find a vibrant scene, where locals and visitors share visions, dreams, challenges and archievements; - Horta da cooperativa: a plot of land has been ceded, large enough to experiment food soveighty projects such as production for the café-grocery of Espaço Nativa; team-building and pedagogic activities; plant nursery; and there's still room for more. The work is split across eight branches of action: primary consumption, education, commercialisation, social solidarity, construction and housing, services, agriculture, and culture. A - SAL Odemira, a wider food system project across the territory, including local sampling and initiatives on the quality of school meals in the Odemira municipality. - Energia com Alegria, a Renewable Energy Community sprouting in Regenerativa; - Torgal Vivo, monitoring water quality to share openly to find solutions and fito-remediation techniques.
