SENSIHEMP

Sensihemp makes clothing and accessories from 100% certified hemp. The brand was founded in Póvoa de Varzim, out of an urgent call for awareness, regeneration and reconnection with more responsible ways of producing and consuming clothing. Hemp is an ancient fibre with real modern relevance. It needs far less water than cotton, grows without pesticides, and improves soil health through its deep root system, which makes it one of the most sustainable natural fibres available. The collections cover clothing, bags and accessories, designed for durability, timeless style and a small environmental footprint. Products run from hemp scarves and beanies to tote bags, toiletry bags, coin purses and embroidered laptop cases. Each piece is made entirely in Portugal. The brand works to zero waste, vegan materials, fair trade practices and circular economy principles, so that products are built to last and materials stay in productive use as long as possible. Sensihemp sees its work as part of a wider movement to rethink how clothes are designed, made and consumed. It takes part in the New European Bauhaus project, aligning with Europe's vision for a more sustainable, inclusive and beautiful built and material world. Founder Marta Vinhas is a European Climate Pact Ambassador with 20 years in the textile industry. She wants to make regenerative fashion accessible and desirable.
